Comments:
This is a great, well built cup. The only problem is that I've seen reviews saying the 1L nalgene fits inside and mine doesn't. I can only get the bottle into the cup to the 6 oz mark on the bottle. I wanted this to be like my old military canteen. Operation Over a traditional "Mechanic Mike's" soda can stove with HEET for fuel, I brought 12 oz of water to a soft boil in just under 6 minutes in 79 deg air temp. The handles transferred no heat and the cup cooled almost instantly once the liquid was poured out. Its a great deal for price! Glad I bought 2.

I purchased this mug for a backpacking trip, but found it a bit to bulky to pack. I have been using it to shake up protein shakes and it works great!

I haven't used this camping cookware yet, but I am sure it will do the job. I usually use all paper, but have become more ecologically friendly in my middle years. I am sure we will have this item for a long time.

Just took two of them out on a camping/trout fishing trip. with the screw-on lid they work great as a food storage container. I also used one to chill pasta salad in the stream by tying a cord on the handle and tossing it in to cool. As a weight-conscious backpacker in my youth, I carried only a large plastic mug and a spoon as my "dishes". This thing is the Godzilla of plastic mugs.

The premise behind this product is that no matter how much chow is on your plate you still might feel it's not enough. The 32 ounce capacity is way plenty for a good meal.

I may be a minimalist but I do get messy after awhile. These utensils are so easy to clean. I do not recommend a scouring pad as they will scratch the surface and make it harder to clean. Plus, they are unnecessary. Enjoy!

not the most light weight, but one of my non-minimal splurges. worth the weight for the ability to have a HUGE hot cocoa at the end of a climb/hike/summit really helps me rehydrate. also doubles as my bowl (how I justify the weight). and, I love that the lid lets me close it up if I need to pop off to fix something etc, and come back to a hot, bug-free dinner. big wide base and handle make it super easy to pour in/out, and mix.

Comments:
Just returned from a weeklong canoe trip in the Atikaki wilderness in northern Manitoba with a Scout troop. We all used these mugs (w/ lexan spoons) as our ONLY eating utensils. The lid on these mugs allows the camper to cleanup all residue by adding 50-100 mL of water, shaking vigorously, and drinking up the "leftovers." There are no solids, then, that ever enter the washwater when cleanup occurs. One person accidentally lost his grip on his Nalgene drinking bottle and ended up using his Fair Share mug as his 1-liter drinking bottle for the remainder of the trip. The handle has convenient holes and slots for use with a carabiner. If the handle were removable I'd have awarded the mug 5 stars but its current design makes it somewhat difficult to pack tightly. If the user is crafty many items can be packed inside of the mug to make up the difference in bulkiness. Several of us cut short or bent (by melting) our lexan spoons so that they would fit inside of the mugs.
