Not built for the mountains By bikerid from Sandpoint, ID on 01/21/2008 Cons: Flimsy Construction, Handles Poorly Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I intended using this bike for aggressive trail riding and had a hard time keeping this bike on the trail . . . it was really sloppy through turns, extremely rough through rocky sections, and does not land well. On the other hand, it does climb well, really well, but coming back down is a bit scary due to the frame geometry. I would not take this bike out in the mountains, keep it in town where it belongs.
By Sierra (the real one) from Chicago on 01/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boy that I gave these to as a gift, did not take them off for a whole day. He is supposed to take them on a ski trip, but decided they were great for eating, going downtown, playing, etc. Great gift item for a 10 year old, who also happens to ski.

Great as long as it's not really sunny! By Peak Princess from Denver, CO on 12/13/2007 Pros: Cuts Glare, Does Not Fog, Good Fit, Good Visibility, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were fine for a snowy or grey day - the lens is really clear. However, in bright light I don't think the pink lens would be dark enough for comfortable vision.

By Dan from Canada from Montreal, QC on 09/20/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Cons: Heavy, Poor Components Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] The saddle was defective and had to buy new one. The bike must weigh about 30lbs, not great for climbing. Aside from mediocre components, a reliable cross-country bike. Frame accepts upgrades such as disc brakes.
