By The Young from OC, CA on 06/26/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The crank charges up the unit and will charge a USB-powered device pretty fast. The solar charger is too weak and is kind of useless. The case is really nice, overall this will be a great complement to my MP3 player in the back country.
By Pat S. from Gunnison, CO on 06/25/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We use these bags for white water rafting and they are great! They are easy to pack and seal well. We have recommended these to many other rafters in Colorado.
By Don from Louisville, KY on 06/25/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product worked like a charm and the price I paid for it on STP was top notch. I recently took the family on a three day overnight raft trip. It rained for three consecutive days. The bag stored 2 sleeping bags, a full large compression bag full of clothing, and two air mattresses. Stay dry the entire time. The size of the bag is huge, so if not packing for a long trip, may look into getting a smaller size.
Would recommend to canoers By Canoe Guru 88 from Cornwall, PEI on 06/25/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This item is a must have in my opinion for multiple day canoe trips. It holds a substantial amount of stuff including a *huge* mummy bag I purchased from here as well. My friends and I canoe the Miramachi and deal with some hefty rapids to be had in a canoe. This product keeps it dry. I have not fully tested the waterproof ability of it but I'm confident it would've performed well. I used a strip of duct tape over the packing hole to provide additional water protection.
