Seattle Sports

Seattle Sports

At best, wet gear is a nuisance. At worst, it’s life threatening. When the great outdoors beckons, your equipment should stay as dry and well protected as you are. Seattle Sports has more than 20 years of time-tested design experience in keeping gear dry. Seattle Sports pioneered radio-frequency seam welding for truly waterproof packs and duffels. The auto-purge valve system allows air to be released without letting water in as the bag is rolled down. Seattle Sports selects the highest quality materials in the production of their super tough, lightweight protection gear. And because they are located in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle Sports thoroughly field tests products in some of the wettest conditions on Earth. If you want high-quality waterproof gear protection, then Seattle Sports is your brand.

Comments:
The crank charges up the unit and will charge a USB-powered device pretty fast. The solar charger is too weak and is kind of useless. The case is really nice, overall this will be a great complement to my MP3 player in the back country.

Comments:
Product worked like a charm and the price I paid for it on STP was top notch. I recently took the family on a three day overnight raft trip. It rained for three consecutive days. The bag stored 2 sleeping bags, a full large compression bag full of clothing, and two air mattresses. Stay dry the entire time. The size of the bag is huge, so if not packing for a long trip, may look into getting a smaller size.

Would recommend to canoers

Cons:
Bulky
Best Uses:
Canoeing
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
This item is a must have in my opinion for multiple day canoe trips. It holds a substantial amount of stuff including a *huge* mummy bag I purchased from here as well. My friends and I canoe the Miramachi and deal with some hefty rapids to be had in a canoe. This product keeps it dry. I have not fully tested the waterproof ability of it but I'm confident it would've performed well. I used a strip of duct tape over the packing hole to provide additional water protection.
