Good quality at a great price By Beach Bum from Bristol Bay, AK on 10/29/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have only used the bag once and it was a light load, just thrown on the boat, so no hiking with it or extended use, but it kept everything inside dry. I don't believe it to be the same quality of way higher priced bags, but seems like it will work for moderate packs, this is the only reason for the four star rating. If it performs anything like the previous reviews, I'm sure it will be a great bag.
By trout hunter from Bend, OR on 10/27/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the see through window and the fact that it is orange instead of a dark color. It means I can see what is on the bottom inside the bag very easily.

By Beth Lawson from Ann Arbor, MI on 10/22/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Using this to transport stuff in my pick up.
By wes canoe head from Minneapolis, Mn on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Highly water resistant, Strong Material, Tight Closure Cons: Not for a small person Best Uses: Paddling, Portaging, Sailing Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dry/portage pack carries a very large volume of stuff. It will carry 70+ pounds w/o ripping.
It does the job in the BWCAW for keeping the number of portages to a minimum in lake to lake travel.
It is strong for its weight, dry, and relatively comfortable to hump over the trail.
It could also be good for rafting adventures and river camping. Not designed for back packing.
Functional, durable dry bag By baltoman from Baltimore,MD on 10/16/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this bag on a 4 day canoe trip down the Green River. The dry bag held up just fine to being thrown in and out of boats each day. I like the large capacity without being too big or bulky.
By Rosy Flamingo from Moab, UT on 10/14/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We live in Moab, UT and have started spending more time on the Colorado and Green rivers.
Yesterday we gave the dry bag it's first trip- a day float through Westwater Canyon. While we suffered a drenching in Skull and Hummer rapids the bag kept our extra clothes dry through the entire trip.
If you roll the top tight and burp out the extra air it compacts well. We don't plan on using it for hiking trips so am not worried about straps pulling out; but it is well made.
I'll probably buy a second one for extra storage room on multi day trips planned for next summer.
By Lucky and Son from Jacksonville, N.Y. on 10/14/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag was perfect for a short canoe trip where we could put multiple bags in the center of the canoe and keep them low and compact. We had a lot of wind and were glad for the lack of wind resistance because of the low profile. Plus we could keep our own gear separate (as opposed to all of it in one bag).I would suggest this product to my friends.
