I would buy this product again. By Sadi the Fierce from Winter Park, CO on 04/19/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this product for a week-long raft trip and found it to be quite adequate and easy to use. It was heavy-duty enough to be packed and unpacked everyday, thrown onto the ground and dragged over pebbley and sandy beaches without a tear or showing much signs of heavy use.
By Jeff from Colorado on 04/17/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, High Quality Best Uses: Keeps your valuables dry Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Small size is perfect for those smaller items, packs well.
By Phil from Montana on 04/16/2008 Pros: Compact, Good Seams, Tough Best Uses: Multi-Day Excursions, rafting Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bag is pretty much exactly as described. I use mine to stash a tent and sleeping bag on raft trips. Have not submerged by any means, but seems to keep gear sufficiently dry. So far so good!
Upon receiving the bag, I carefully inspected the seams. They are very well sewn and welded. Do be sure to leave enough room at the top of your bag to roll up the flap adequately.
Price is right for a great dry bag.
By Phil from Montana on 04/16/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, Square Shape, Tight Closure Best Uses: Multi-Day Excursions, Paddling, Rafting Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was absolutely astounded when I discovered that I could get a brand-name (it's Seattle Sports, c'mon now!) dry bag of this size for under 50-bucks. The price was so good that I ordered several, half-expecting them to be of marginal quality. Boy, was I surprised.
Besides the bag being large enough to pack enough gear for several days on the water, all the seams are well sewed and welded. Even fully packed, there is sufficient room to roll the top tightly for a good seal.
My only complaint is the backpack straps. You'd have to be an idiot to load the the bag with more than 80 lbs. of gear and try to carry it on your back, but if you do expect the straps to tear from the bag. Use a bit of common sense and carry the bag by hand if it's heavily loaded to avoid this; but I could see it being an issue for newbs.
Great gear for a good price!

By Cyndi lou from Atlanta, GA on 11/30/2007 Pros: Good Capacity, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Competitive Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Actually we bought three of them for a canoe trip, it's big enough to put all clothes and sleeping bag in. But one bag got a hole at the bottom after 3-day paddling and camping, which was a little bit frustrating.
