I would have exchanged them for the larger size if the soles didn't look like they were made of hard plastic/rubber. For $40, I would have stuck with them, for [$], I wanted something else. I imagine they would be comfortable, but I wanted something that looked a little more solid for my money.

I have litterally "walked out" of these shoes. The cork sole is durable and slip resistant. I paid nearly double what STP is asking and would pay it again. I am ordering myself a replacement pair and a pair in another style. LOVE Josef Seibel Shoes, thats all I own~

Gave them to her early because they appeared to be too small, and I wanted a chance to return if necessary. They fit, a little snug, but she'd delighted, and they would up looking a lot better in person than they did on the web.
