Otherwise, the shoe feels comfortable. I have three pairs of the Adelle model, and I prefer those to this shoe.

The soft buttery leather needs no break-in time, and the two adjustable straps give a custom fit.

These sandals feel very comfortable, but are a little too small for me. I gave them to a friend. I would recommend these sandals, but order 1/2 size up.

I almost didn't buy them because of another review that said the leather was stiff, but it wasn't stiff -- as a matter of fact, it's very soft. And, the insole is very soft & cushy. I wear a 38 in Josef Seibel shoes and these fit me perfectly. The only negative was that my baby toe felt a bit pinched by the end of the first day, but the next time I wore them, I didn't have that problem.

I have worn these to work and on weekends regularly for about 2 weeks. They coordinate with most of my slacks and skirts. They are light weight and fit well in my backpack when I bike to work.

These are great, look good, are well-made and fit my narrow foot. They work with or without socks. This is my first time purchasing this brand and I would certainly go for Joseph Seibel again. And, as always, these are a good buy.
