By Reallthang from Utah on 03/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a bunch of these for my kids. They have had knee problems due to a lack of arch support in their shoes--it seems most shoes need more support. These supports actually fit their feet. I have been buying them small adult ones at the drug store. They were thrilled to see these because they were their sizes and they have great designs. I will be buying more.
By YOP from PA on 03/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these insoles but I had to put in extra for the arch. Unfortunately, I have very high arches and am on my feet on concrete for 12 hours a day. The heel is extra cushiony and my heels don't start to burn after 8 hours like other ones I have tried.
Raises the heel of my foot too high By momeason from NC coast on 03/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Lightweight Cons: Causes my heel to slip, Raises my heel too high, Too high in the heel area, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were good in the front of my shoe, but raised my heel too much in the back, causing shoes to slip. I even tried with bigger shoes, still had the problem. I wanted them to work, but could not get them to work for me. Great price. I have a very narrow foot and I was hoping to help fill up my shoe and provide support. These take up more room in my shoes than I expected. I am returning the product.
By Regalkismet from Eastpointe, MI on 03/20/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good insole....at a great price. There isn't a better insole at this price.
By MC in NJ from Northern NJ on 03/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These insoles are great for raising the heel just high enough in stiff new shoes to avoid blisters, but they seem designed to align the weight of my too-large feet for comfort and to diminish fatigue from hours on my feet. I'm impressed with the quality. They will last and last. I use them in casual shoes as well as work shoes and dress shoes. They cradle the foot very comfortably.
By Needs to be Comfortable from Chads Ford, PA on 03/16/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These work well in shoes that you have a little extra room in already....and are laced. Typically the insoles won't move around in a laced up shoe.. They do not take up as much room as a whole foot insert, so the footwear liner should not be removed before inserting. It can be very painful for me to stand/walk for great lengths of time. I would say that this insert helps provide some extra support and it is comfortable, but I would prefer some more cushioning for long term wear. If you are looking for a cushy insert, this would not be for you. If you want some extra support for your heel and arch, this is a great buy.
Superior comfort and support By Barefoot Whenever Possible from FL on 03/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these in all my athletic shoes and am seriously considering using them instead of custom orthotics in my ski boots. The unique thing is the metatarsal arch support - every other orthotic lacks this and it makes a huge difference.
IF you have ARCH problems By MrTwistoff from Boulder, CO on 03/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really designed for high arches. The extra sets of velcro cushions allow you to choose firmness of the arch. But, the arch has to be higher than normal. I mistakenly bought these as cushions for my running shoes (which is daily wear for me). But I have normal arches, these pushed up a lot.
The bottom has a stiff plastic section on it, and if you cut these to fit, your shoes are going to squeak. Not a good thing for walking around the office, probably fine if you only run in them.
I gave them to a friend who does have high arches.
By pain free from Connecticut on 03/09/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been experiencing heel pain for months. These insoles helped relieve the pain.
Helpful but in the right type of shoe By SJ from MA on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these because my boots had begun to hurt after a long day, and they do help. But because they aren't stuck down, they move in the shoe (making stairs uncomfortable). This quality though allows them to be very versatile.
