This is a good jacket for cooler days & nights in the city and on hikes that don't require fast & light packing. Order up a size if you have a longer than average torso or like fuller coverage.

This is a great jacket. I have used it on days that were in the negative teens before the wind chill and it kept me toasty. Pair it with a midweight base layer and a waterproof / windproof shell, and you'll be ready for anything that Old Man Winter can throw at you.

The two layer construction and DWR finish are a nice touch for a lightweight rain jacket... you do not get that sticky, bound in plastic wrap sensation against your skin. The zippered, underarm ventilation is a nice touch for an inexpensive, lighweight packing jacket.
