By doug from seattle on 10/22/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very Lightweight. Not for super cold temps. But very efficient for it's weight.
By dog mama from Seattle, WA on 10/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wanted a pair of waterproof pants for the rainy dog walking mornings. I don't need high tech ski gear, or other outdoor wear. I wanted them to be inexpensive. I am not sure how well these will function as I have not had the opportunity to wear them in the rain yet. They don't seem waterproof. They are only nylon. They are lightweight, but if water seeps through, I will be unhappy.
Drink a corona and still stay warm By woolyworm from TN on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice vest. It's warm and well made (and it should be for that price). The arm holes can be a tad snug if wearing thicker undershirts. The only other thing you need to be aware of is that it runs big in size AND it is very puffy/bulky. You will look like a big marshmellow dipped in food coloring.

By JB from Mechanicsville, Va on 10/20/2009 Cons: Zipper needs to be babbie, Zipper Snags Easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Finally used it on a cold weekend car camping, low 30's, and was toasty warm in just socks, long underwear, longsleeve t and lite sweater. Could have done w/o the sweater but needed for that late nite bathroom run. Zipper was grabby when trying to close but with stealthy finger placemnt was able to minimize snagging. Compression bag,pad strap and cloth bag was included.
Good Product, Poor Sizing By Redhead in Virginia from Arlington, VA on 10/20/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the pants are very well made, they were not a good fit for me. The waist was perfect but they were tight in the hips and thigh, so it was impossible for me to layer for the colder weather. If I order the next size, the waist will be miles too big. I bought these pants for hiking and walking in the rain. The best features are the zip sides, for easy on-off access with hiking boots. They are also very lightweight.
