Waterville Loro Piana Storm System® Quilted Barn Jacket - Cotton-Wool (For Men)

Quality, NOT barn coat, but skimpy cut.
By OCULUSVerified Reviewer from Rensselaer, NY on 10/07/2009

Cons:
Runs short
Best Uses:
Versatile sport coat
Describe Yourself:
Classic Dresser
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Not at all a "Barn jacket"; rather a handsome sport jacket with added "convertible" benefits that are popular this season. I ordered this on a gamble: sometimes "regulars" in outer wear will fit my normally Long frame, but this, with it's updated, rather skimpy cutaway body was just too short. Regrettably returned; otherwise, a nice piece.

Waterville Loro Piana Storm System ® Jacket - Lambswool (For Men)

Wonderful Wool, Construction Lacking?
By MatttheCat from Toronto, ON on 11/29/2008

Cons:
Poor Construction
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out
Describe Yourself:
Trendy/Stylish Dresser
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The Loro Piana wool on this jacket is unbelievable - soft, light and extremely warm. I do, however, have concerns about the construction. I just got this jacket and already there are a number of (3-4) loose threads. The buttons are very cheap and don't look to be sewn on very well. I just get a bad feeling about this jacket and am going to send it back. At its current price it is certainly a bargain, the LP wool makes it worth that much, however [$]is too expensive for my budget to take any chances on poor quality.

Waterville Quilted Corduroy Vest (For Men)

High Quality, Soft Flexible Comfort
By OCULULSVerified Reviewer from Rensselaer, NY on 04/03/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Soft and pliable, Warm
Cons:
left-handed zipper
Best Uses:
Daily Use
Describe Yourself:
Classic
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
First time, I returned this because of the left-handed zipper, and then ordered two alteratives. None satisfied in fit, soft pliable (flannel-like) comfort and trim tailoring like this, so I learned to use the left-handed zipper. Worth the effort.
