Keeps my fingers warm, like the style By Kel from Colorado Springs, CO on 12/15/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Skiing, Walking the Dog, Winter hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not worn the gloves for extended periods yet, but so far on walks with the dog (20 - 30 min duration)in temperatures of low to mid 20s, they have done a good (and much better than other brand gloves) job of keeping my fingers from feeling the cold. I look forward to the first ski trip of the year later this month and will see how well they work in those conditions, and then will form a more complete opinion of their value. So far though, I am very happy with them.

Must be a bargain, I just can't use it! By Christopher ,the traveler from St. Louis, Mo currently. on 12/04/2008 Pros: Doesn't fit can't judge Cons: No basis for judgement Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Every use in N Wisc Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens might have been a great value but, I personally won't abide what I believe is a tight(My prejudice)fit. I ordered and received an XL pair but, I've decided that my hands are claustraphobic. So I can't afford, in this economy, not to send them back for a credit. Thank goodness for STPs' return policy or, I couldn't afford to take a chance on what just 'might' be a great deal. STP helps' to make survival in todays' world just a little more likely.

By Nate's (the black lab) mom from Monument, CO on 12/01/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Cons: Need zipper pulls, Runs small Best Uses: Downhill skiing, Hiking/Running, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Heed the comments that note this item runs small; I am a woman with hands on the small side - I ordered the small and it fits fine. There is no way that this is a man's small. Also, I added zipper pulls to make it easier to open and close the mitten and access the glove (which was the primary reason for buying this model.
