So far, working great; however he says he doesn't run quite as fast with these compared to his old tennies.

Get er done, keep your socks dry By Outdoorsy in the wet PNW from Corvallis, OR on 11/10/2008 Pros: COMFORTABLE, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Muddy Trails, Rainy Days, Yard Work Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these around town on really rainy days, for taking the trash out or gathering fire wood, and when I'm working outdoors in wet and/or cold conditions. I haven't tried them in snow, but they are great in the rain and mud. They are not cute nor fashionable, but very functional. The fit is pretty good, a tad bit long for me, and I have a pretty normal foot. I like them because they are padded and flexible enough to wear all day, and lighter and less bulky than rain boots.
By Puddletown bike commuter from Portland, OR on 11/08/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for short distance bike commuting in the rain. They are indeed waterproof, my socks haven't gotten wet. They are a little heavier than regular sneakers, but not too bad.
By Larry the reluctant hiker from Duluth, MN and Chicago IL on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile, Warm and waterproof Best Uses: Beach Wear, Daily Wear, Going Out, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Live out in the country and walk a variety of terrain. These are comfortable and waterproof especially after on-going rains and the trains are flooded.
They are also stylish and practical to train/walk to work in inclement weather in the urban landscape.
By Carol the Dogwalker from NY, NY on 11/07/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Walking in the rain Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not only do these shoes keep my feet completely dry even in the most miserable of downpours, they are cushioned enough to withstand a full day of dogwalking. They also look decent enough that I can wear them around town when I'm not working. I definitely recommend these shoes to anyone doing serious walking in wet conditions.
By Smasty from Highlands Ranch, CO on 11/05/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the fit of these, they stretch over your foot like a sock. The opening looks small but stretches just fine. The sole is very substantial and cushioning--much better than rubber gardening-type shoes. Long walks on muddy trails or wet dirt roads will be perfect for these shoes.
By Hope - Missouri from Kansas City, Missouri on 10/19/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these shoes daily to the barn. The sole is thick enough to comfortably cushion rocks and gravel beneath my feet. The shoes fit like a sock.
A pair lasts me for about 9 months before the seams on the inside of the toe box separate and the shoe is no longer waterproof. This is still longer than Ariat brand waterproof boots last me.
I'm pretty hard on my barn boots. I have recommended this brand/style to my friends.
