Durable, fair styling, great value By Casual Professional from Big Bear Lake, CA on 01/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Duck is somewhat stiff Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just purchased it a few weeks ago. So far I wear it around town and it is very functional. The internal draw string around the waste helps to shape it somewhat. The duck is a bit stiff and takes some getting used to. Washing helps to soften it.
By Susie Shopper from Birmingham, AL on 01/29/2009 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this jacket for my husband who was needing a new warm work jacket. This is a nice heavy duty jacket--everything I was expecting. I bought a size too large because there was not one in his size--and it is large, but it was such a great price I couldn't by-pass it. My husband was glad I purchased it.

By BigFoot from Coweta, OK on 01/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Balticfire from New England Winter on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Nice snug-fitting hood, Warm Cons: Zipper kind of stubborn Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found this on sale for [$] At that price I couldn't afford not to try it. I am more than satisfied so far--5 or 6 wearings. The zipper stickes in a couple of places. It takes a good hard yank to get past them. But the jacket is warmer than I expected. The hoods on most outdoor jackets I've ever had have been clumsy, drafty, and more trouble than they're worth. This one is great. It has easy tightening cords on each side which can be independently adjusted--no more cord-in-the-mouth disease. The size seems a little tight for a 3X. I'd suggest buying a size larger than you think you need. But it's not so small than I won't wear it.
