The brown is really a very pretty brown. The linen knit is a fabric I have not experienced before and I find it really wonderful. I wore these to an outdoor art festival right after I received them. They were amazingly cool. There was no shade around and they still felt comfortable. The sizing is perfect too. Not too tight or binding. I love them.

I had no idea where I could ever even wear it, so I returned it, even though it perfectly matches a skirt I have nothing to go with. It's gorgeous, though, and I hate giving it one star? Maybe someone out there can wear it safely and responsibly!

It is a practical alternative to a sweater; understated, versatile and nicely made. Is is not as formal as a suit jacket but looks better in a work setting than a casual cardigan. If you are looking for a heavier jacket that doubles as a coat, this is not what you want, though. One last really good thing about this garment is that it is machine washable - a real bonus.
