By none from Pittsburgh, PA on 11/17/2009 Cons: Clasps were hard, Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sorry, but I had to return the boots, as I was not able to undo the clasps easily in order to tighten the boots for wearing and taking off.
Comfortable, lightweight and waterproof By Miguel from Duluth, MN on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots worked very well for deer hunting in Northern Minnesota. Although temps were mostly above freezing this year, boots were comfortable on stand and walking through swamps proved that they are waterproof. The boots run large, but this isn't a bad thing if you want to wear extra socks when it really gets cold. The boots are very light and should be great for snow shoing.
By cold feet from Union, ME on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Plowing on the tractor Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It hasn't been cold enough to need these, but I am awaiting the blowing snow so that I can slip them on and fire up the tractor. They appear to have good attention to detail. My son has the nylon upper version, which would be fine but I wanted a one time purchase, something to last many future seasons and these appear to be right. The boot is bulky and stiffer than I anticipated but I haven't had winter boots in years and so I can't really compare them to anything except leather work boots.

However they are warm, comfortable, and cute!

Certainly kept my feet warm and dry and snow to slush wasn't a problem.

By snowwalker from denver, colorado on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: looks a bit bulky and wide but fits and feels wonderful. Wish it laced up a bit higher and the inside top got wet from high snow getting inside, but all in all I'm very pleased with the boot. Recent snowstorm provided perfect testing conditions!
By Great Dane Walker from Aurora, CO on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Year Round Dog Walker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore these boots today out at the 65 acre dog-park after two days of snow/sleet and they were great! While they are big and bulky, they offered the warmth, traction and waterproof protection I was looking for. I ordered 1/2 size up to accomodate bulky socks and shoe inserts and I still have a bit of slip in the heel. Probably could have gone true to size. You will look and feel like Nanuk of the North in these puppies, but they are exactly what I was looking for.
