By Jen from New Hampshire on 12/08/2007 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Great appearance Cons: Don't Breathe, Heavy, Not Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way these boots look, and as long as it's not wet or slushy outside, they are great. However, we had our first big snow in NH, and as I waded through it, the wetness came right into my boots. Also, their description stated that they run small, and advised to order a WHOLE size larger-- I did this, and I wish I hadn't. I think they are a maximum of a half-size larger, if not size-accurate. I had to get inserts to make mine fit. Bummer.

Bad boots - snow gets in!!! By Outdoor Mom from Minnesota on 12/08/2007 Best Uses: Cold Weather, plant flowers in them Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Unlike real sorrels, these do not cinch at the top, do not have an inner elaticized gusset to keep snow out, do not have removable liners, the liners are thin,in short, they are only for show. The thick fur ruff makes it impossible to pull snow pants over the top of the boot. They are worthless.
By plumlily from NYS on 12/08/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Awkward tightening gaiter, Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the boots for the reasons above, but they do seem to be difficult to get into and out of and the cords on the gaiters are in the way after pulling them tight.

By a man with a calling from Grand Marais, Minnesota on 12/07/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very comfortable and warm. I've used these on several sub-zero days without any problems. I'd expect my toes to stay warm to about minus 25 or so with low activity. It's been hard for me to get the boots off without the liners coming off too. However, the liners are easy to replace.
