By Bigbear4x4 from Fort Kent, Maine on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots walking to and from my classes, as well as hunting in the woods. The pull loop at the top of the boot prevents snow from cascading in and keeps the cold out of the boot. The only thing I noticed is they run about half a size too large, which prevents me from using them to drive my stick shift truck.
By Chicken Farmer from Oregon on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Warm and comfortable. I turned the top up and they fit inside boot leg pants. Much more comfortable and better fit than my Uggs. I removed the wood button for quicker adjustment of ties.
By glenvet from Colorado on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore them for the first time in the snow yesterday and they were great! My feet didn't get wet and the suede didn't discolor from the moisture. I sprayed some waterproof stuff on mine and it didn't discolor the leather (I got the dark brown pair). It is a little difficult to stuff my foot in them with boot-cut jeans, but I can deal with that. Other than that, these are great! They run true to size, too.

Not cold enough to wear yet but Sorel products have a good rep.
