Birdiepal

Birdiepal

Avid golfers already know that Birdiepal umbrellas always make par (if not birdie!) on the course, thanks to sturdy construction, slender designs and lightweight construction. But Birdiepal umbrellas make great umbrellas for travel, the trail, the glove box and the concert venue thanks to their compact design. All Birdiepal umbrellas start with a sturdy yet lightweight fiberglass frame, on top of which is layered a comfortable EVA foam grip handle, 100% rainproof umbrella canopy and an extra-strong cap on top to prevent wear and tear. Birdiepal’s specialized Windflex system ensures high umbrella stability even in windy conditions, and pin springs and safety runners protect fingers from being pinched when opening or closing. Head to the golf course, hiking trail or airport prepared for the weather with a lightweight, long-lasting umbrella from Birdiepal.

Not bad for the price
By Cram ElectroVerified Reviewer from Sarasota, Florida on 01/31/2009
Pros:
Compact, Does Its Job, Dries Quickly, Waterproof
Cons:
Difficult To Open, Inverts Easily
Best Uses:
Light Rain
Describe Yourself:
Casual Dresser
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Although compact, it's not the smallest of the small travel umbrellas. Sometimes, it opens incorrectly and inverts, but that's easy to fix. May or may not be durable - time will tell. For the price I paid, it's a decent inexpensive travel or car umbrella.
