falke long john bottoms xxl By Mike from Pittsburgh area on 04/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't rate this on performance because I returned it. The material was not wool, which I thought I was ordering (the xl was, because I have it). It was constructed from PA? Felt like rubber or like nylon.
The fit was very nice. And I love the wool version of these. But this material was not for me. It might perform better for all I know, however?
One other problem: these bottoms have no fly opening.

By Outalot from NE Ohio on 03/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: OK, I tried it - obviously meant to hug like a compression shirt. It felt odd for the 1st few minutes, but it is a comfortable under layer, packs small, washes well, and looks good. My girl loves it & borrows one of mine for skiing layer, etc. She's a very slender medium & I have a large enough chest & neck to need an XL. Funny, this shirt fits both of us! Must admit, it looks smashing on her form! True confession: Wearing this shirt has nudged me to trim 20 lb spare tire over the last year. I guess one does tend to feel as though one is wearing a superhero tunic under the regular garb, but hey, ...no problem!
By nicky from Eugene, OR on 02/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Layering, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been using this shirt on runs and as a layer out in the snow. It's comfortable and looks good - I've gotten a couple of compliments.
By Siggy from Santa Monica, CA on 02/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Best Uses: Daily Use, Office Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had them for two months. They are the first socks I pull out of the drawer when I go to work. Durability is not yet an issue, so I will wait and see if they last. So far so good. Just what I expected.
By always cold from hudson valley, NY on 02/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought three pairs of wool long underwear bottoms to try out. There was no competition. The Falke pair are knit in a way that helps them articulate the shape of your body and they fit perfectly. I am 5'10" and long johns are often short on me, but these have plenty of length and do not bag or sag anywhere. They are not as silky as 100% merino or a merino/silk mix, but that is a small sacrifice when everything else is so good
