Bulky and not good for running By Runner from Salt lake city UT on 10/21/2009 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted it for running. But it sticks out too far from forehead and bounces when I run. Black Diamond Cosmo LED from [...] works much better for that purpose.

By Libertarian from Nebraska on 10/20/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy to Light, Powerful, Stable Cons: Poor temperature control Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: While I appreciate the quality that this stove offers, as well as the heat output, I feel that more attention could be paid to controlling the heat at low temperatures. The flame control doesn't work well at very low (simmer) levels. All in all, I'm well satisfied with this product versus the price I paid here at Sierra Trading Post.
By Camping in Utah from Austin,Tx on 10/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It works really well but the metal edges are extremely sharp. It nearly cut my thumb off. It sliced thru my thumbnail all the way to the bone.
By Camping Friend from Layton, Utah on 10/18/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good lighter to get a camp fire started. I mainly camp in a travel trailer so this should suit me just fine. I went to three different stores to find butane. The third store was a cigarette/cigar store. I plan on giving the second lighter as a Christmas gift.

By Camping Mom from Southeast USA on 10/15/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Clean, Easy to Light, Lightweight, Powerful, Stable Cons: Poor temperature control Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to use when car camping with the kids. It is small compared to the other stoves I saw at local stores. It is easy to light, clean, and cooled off fast. It was harder to simmer foods but very quick to reach boiling temperature. This is great for car camping not hiking! I have a small whisper for that. I just used regular Colman fuel canister with no problem.

By Donskull from ohio on 10/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have 2 of these, that is correct I got Jacked for [$]. At first I thought awesome, does not leak, keeps things hot or cold forever. Then after about 3 months of using them each day, it starts. Lid pops off on occasion, so don't trust it in the bag. Both of the seals leak whether your driving or trying to drink from it. I contacted the so called manufacturer (really made in China) and they basically said, oh sorry contact who you bought it from. Yea I am sure the local outdoor place will rush to take these back. AND I followed all of the care instructions, never been in a dish machine. Just don't waste your money on this. Might have been worth [$] before moving production to China.
