Great jacket- buy larger than usual size By claire from MI on 09/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the quality of exte ondo's clothes. I always buy 2 sizes larger than I would in typical American sizing. I have the matching Marra tights to this jacket, it makes a very comfortable cool weather cycling outfit. I think Exte Ondo has the best looking cycling wear too, I wish we could get more of it here in the US (perferably on sale-its pricey, but you get great quality)
By mdeth1313 from NY on 09/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: like most exte ondo stuff- if it works for you, it's just outstanding!
By Road Rash from Chicago, IL on 08/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Yes, the straps do want to slide off from the bedroom to the garage; but after you hit the road I have never had a problem. These have the great old chamois style and I enjoy the feel of it better than some of the more expensive anatomically correct bibs. I am keeping an eye out for more Exte Ondo bibs.
By Dom from Tasmania, AUSTRALIA on 08/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good fit Best Uses: Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seriously lovely quality and fit, as usual from Etxe Ondo. For those interested, this is true continental Euro sizing, so a M is an M - not the massive overblown jerseys we tend to find out of the US & UK. You'll not be disappointed, the rear pockets are a lovely quality finish.
best jersey i have ever owned By kat from oakland, ca on 08/11/2008 Best Uses: Everyday, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jersey; the only con is that it is a little short in the front but since I wear a long sports bra top underneath it doesn't matter. I love the full-length zipper, the fabric is high quality, there are many panels that make the jersey conform to your moves and forward positioning on the road bike. The pockets are deep enough to carry my small pump. Another great quality about this jersey is that it doesn't hold on to your B.O. like a lot of other jerseys that I have owned.
By TDK2 from Dartmouth, MA on 08/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good fit, Very comfortable, Well made Best Uses: Everyday, Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Could be my favorite jersey. Wish I could find more in my size at this price. Exceptional value.
By mdeth1313 from NY on 08/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Commuting, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've got two of these-- 1 in blue, 1 in orange. I really like the carbon resistex fabric- the fit is snug (racing cut), but not restrictive. Breathes well, moves moisture well. I also like the 2 pocket design, it keeps the back of the jersey balanced, so it's not pulling too much to one side if you don't use a saddle bag for flat repair, cell phone, etc... I would NOT pay over [$] for this jersey, I ended up getting it on sale [...] Other jerseys w/ the same type of fabric are the Garneau carbon ion and demarchi contour racing.
Not my favorite shirt but it's up there. By jk7 from Buxton, ME on 07/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Orange is very visible Best Uses: Bad Weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fit is very good. It hangs well on the shoulders without riding up.
It's a little shorter than other shirts.
My orange shirt is warm in high temps but it dissipates sweat well.
For the price, these should ROCK!!! By sopranoatlarge from NYC on 07/25/2008 Cons: Doesn't Breathe, Not Enough Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: OK, I thought these were going to be the gold standard, but oh, how wrong I was. Padding aside, the general fit is good. But the whole reason for wearing these is for the padding. I am a fit petite woman with a figure (not fat- curves baby!!) but the padding must have been designed for a waif's figure, not nearly wide enough in the seat to even reach my sit-bones. I was ten miles into a 70+ mile ride and I wanted to cry. Needless to say, it was a LONGGGG day.
By John from Omaha, NE on 07/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not everyone might care for the fit of these jerseys. They are snug without feeling tight. The material is soft and comfortable.
