By lawyermanagermom from San Francisco, CA on 10/29/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Well designed Cons: Needs another handle Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A longtime Briggs & Riley customer, I've only used this model for a couple trips. Seems like a good bag. Design improvements over prior B&G bags include removing velcro from garment bag so it can be used alone without damaging other items. Not sure about new "tag along" bag carrier hardware.

By See God in Nature from Denver, CO on 08/05/2009 Pros: All the features wanted, Good Capacity, High Quality, Roomy Best Uses: Extended business travel Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Okay, this was my fault - I didn't realize the 28" suitcase would be so large. I intended it to replace an old piece of luggage that side-by-side was shorter and narrower by 1-2 inches. That said, I am thoroughly pleased (so far since I have not yet traveled with it) with the construction and features of this Briggs & Riley suitcase. It appears well made and IS surprisingly light, despite its size. I did a bit of web research on the brand before buying and other users seemed pleased. You cannnot BEAT Sierra Trading Post's price either. The same bag sold on sale at other sites for $100-$200 more than STP. It manuvers easily which is essential when packed. Given its roomy interior it would be pretty easy to overpack this bag beyond the 50lb weight limit but that's not the fault of the suitcase but of the traveler! The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the fact that I have not yet taken a trip with it.
By mcvis08tour from Dallas, Texas on 07/29/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, High Quality Best Uses: Daily Briefcase Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This case is not big, and that was the reason for my purchase. It is very well made, and great for the price. I use it as a briefcase that can fit in my motorcycle trunk.

By ED RN from Chino Hills, CA on 07/25/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, High Quality, Well Made Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice computer brief. It works well carrying my 13" MacBook, I think it would be too tight with a larger notebook.
It is well made with beautiful construction. The lifetime guarantee doesn't hurt either.
Doesn't fit my 17" laptop By bublynski from Upper Marlboro, MD on 07/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return this because although the web site description says it fits up to a 17" laptop, it didn't fit my HP Pavilion 17". Then we noticed the tag on the bag actually called it a 16" bag, so it appears it's not intended to hold a 17" laptop.
