Normally I wear M, but size S was just right. The best jacket I ever owned!
By jeanie from southern wisconsin on 03/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use the pants for downhill skiing. Since the season is over all I can comment on is the fit. I tried 4 pair and these are the best. Fit is good. Feel is good. Can't wait for next snow season.
By seasonedwoman from New England on 03/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hard to believe that snow pants like this can not look bulky, but they don't. Excellent quality, nice lines, very comfy. Didn't look the pillsbury dough girl!
Very nice looking, run large. By L&L Spring from Northeastern Wisconsin on 03/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These would be very warm for our very cold weather skiing in Wisconsin. However, sizing runs large, I ordered an extra large to make certain that I could also wear a baselayer and be comfortable. But pants run large in the waist and seat area. The length is perfect for my 5'8" frame but had to return and STP has run out of smaller sizes.I hope STP will carry in the future so I can order a size smaller.
By Skibunny from Where the snow is... on 03/02/2009 Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'9" with a very athletic build -- I wear a medium top and and 8-10 in pants, depending on style/designer. Since I bought these for skiing, I went up in size (website said to order one up -- I went 2!!!). I almost laughed trying them on -- they fit like a small. Don't bother with these. And - the belt buckle looks soooo cheesy! Sierra Trading Post Responded on 03/02/2009
Thank you for your review. After having this fit, we have determined that this item is running small. We have readjusted our size chart to reflect this decision. Thank you again.
Nice cozy ski pants-but a few problems By First time skier from Tuscaloosa, AL on 02/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Ventilation Best Uses: Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Getting Started Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thes ski pants are very nice. They keep you warm and comfortable for hours on the slopes (or the bunny hills, whichever you prefer). The ski pants only have the two pockets and no zip down ventalation, so more features would be nice. I cannot comment on the durablity to much as the pants were ripped when I was run over by a snowboarder. However, I would buy another set.
By mila from NC on 02/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent quality, exception fabric.
I,m not sure about sizing. I ordered one size up, because I am tall.
Unfortunately, the pants were short in leg length, but pretty long in waist area.
And big! I would happy to keep them, but I would need 2 sizes down and longer in leg length, which they do not have. Good quality if you are lucky about sizing we will love them.
By skip from pgh on 01/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are as described, good quality, very comfortable, quite durable, good fit and good looking. What more could one want?
Great quality elegant ski pants. By M from Miami, Fl on 01/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very stylish ski pants. I purchased them to go with a silver sportalm jacket. They are very sleek and well made. They do not have tons of pockets, just one and a ticket clip. They are however very warm with a raised area in the lower back to keep out chills.
By mk from Long Island on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't worn them skiing yet, but the fit is good. They come up high in the back. A little long but that doesn't matter for skiing.
