By Zuko from New York, NY on 10/31/2009 Pros: Carries Vinyl, Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity Cons: Weak Front Pocket Design Best Uses: Airplane carry on, Day trip, Dj'ing, Overseas Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 1st off ... Own three (different Colors) and I Purchased one for my friend.
This bag serves a dual purpose for me. It holds vinyl Records very nicely and provides padding. I can even throw a slim mixer in the laptop slot and be off. Perfect bag for distant gigs. Also an Excellent carry -on luggage bag. It holds over a weeks worth of Clothing, toiletries and ancillary items with room to spare. I travel a lot overseas and this Bag has been invaluable. Only Flaw is the front pockets they open gull wing style and make it difficult when grabbing items on the fly w'out something falling out.
Awesome Bag.

By grad student from md on 10/30/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Carry-On Personal Bag, Daily commuting Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love it! The bag is a great size for daily commuting (I usually carry a few notebooks in it plus my laptop in a timbuk2 sleeve), and it's also great to use as a carry-on for flights. Unlike other reviewers, I actually appreciate that the laptop sleeve is not built in because it enhances the flexibility of the bag
bigger than it looks! great bag By Anne from London on 10/28/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity Best Uses: Business Trips, Commuting Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great big comfortable bag, tough enough for the commuting knockabout and can reasonably take you into business meetings, though this may depend on your line of work! Laptop easy to access, and lots of pockets. A bit of time to get used to shoulder strap, as had been used to backpacks, but worth it.
By onealism from far western NC on 10/28/2009 Pros: Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity, Lightweight Cons: Needs bigger side pockets Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The main compartment is a huge black hole. There is an adequate netting/pocket for storage in this main compartment. The laptop compartment is well secure.
I wish that the side pockets had just a little more room. They are in good places with easy access.
Perhaps if the big compartment was divided into two sections, a person could organize better rather than have the black hole effect.
By Jim the Runner (not my real name) from MD on 10/28/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own a number of products from this company and this one is one of the nicest. I could care less about the fact that it is made from hemp (I choose different battles) but the bag does have a great feel and seems very durable.
