By Gettie up Joe from Columbia, MO on 09/15/2009 Cons: Suggested a labtop sleeve Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is a great bag, but in describing it the web site says it can fit up to a 15" labtop, this is misleading, it has no way of securing a laptop inside.
protective and stylish computer bag By camperkelsy from Cedar Falls, IA on 09/15/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this bag for my mac at school. The bag is of very high quality, but I just wish there it came with a shoulder strap and more room to put extra papers
By maggie mae from Lenox, MA on 09/15/2009 Pros: Good Protection, Rugged Best Uses: Commuting, Heavy Duty Protection, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a new "notebook" or mini lap top and all my bags were too big for it and I was concerned it would get banged up and scratched.
This fits the notebook laptop like a glove - easy in and out - but not too tight with slightly less than 1/2 inch padding all around - a bit thicker than bubble wrap. I can slide it into my work, briefcase, any bag or suitcase easily. It will be great for vacations too.
Now I want to buy one for my regular sized lap top.
By chefswife from San Francisco, CA on 09/14/2009 Best Uses: Commuting, Light Protection, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased one in small for my Gateway Netbook which measures 11.3" x 8". This is a perfect, snug (but not too snug) fit for it. I like that it can fit into a backpack, handbag, tote, or messenger with ease. The only (albeit minor) drawback is that there's no looped handle to easily pull out of any bag. As usual, another fabulous Timbuk2 product.
Very functional and classic style By Hummingbird from Arcata,Ca on 09/14/2009 Pros: Attractive, Easy Access, Enough Compartments, Good Organization, Good Strap Length, High Quality Best Uses: Everyday, Going Out, Office, Running Errands, Shopping, Traveling Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For my 15"pc and everything else I wish a bag for!
Very convenient to pack and go.
By Outdoors Girl from Ellicott City, MD on 09/07/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have always loved Timbuk2 bags. I have several different bags plus every size of this tote. I find the small is great as a large purse, the medium is great for my cycling gear so its packed before I race out of the door, and this size is great for weekend trips or a long stay at the gym. I find all the little pockets on the outside extremely helpful which is what the early model from Vietnam had seriously lacked. The tote has more of a female feel then the messengers do.
By osusanna from Maryland on 09/05/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Every day, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not as light and supple as a regular Timbuk2 messenger bag, but the added weight and stiffness for protecting my laptop is well worth it. Very good protection for my computer and has lots if compartments for organization. I love it! I also have a Victorinox computer bag and prefer this one (more style and pockets).
By Grad Student from Fort Collins, CO on 09/03/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Cons: There isn't a cross strap Describe Yourself: Student Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way this bag looks--the only problem is that it doesn't have the strap that clips across your chest/waist as is advertised. Bummer because that's why I wanted a Timbuk2 bag. Instead of that functional strap that keeps the bag from slipping while riding a bike it only has ater bottle holders--a feature I wanted in addition to the cross strap.
