GREAT Cold Weather Tights By lastplacebob from Westmont, IL on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Mtn biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Best cold weather tights I've tried. Wind proof, water proof, comfortable in 30 degree weather, warm in 40 degree weather. Don't buy 'em for 50+ degree weather. The first time in 32 degree weather I wore a light single layer long underwear underneath. That was more than enough for a 50 mile ride. Just bought a second pair. Bought both a size larger than I normally wear since Campy runs small.
By BMW from SC on 12/25/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Returned item twice for improper size and finally with a 2XXL had to return it inspite of my shoe size being a 9 !!!! Beware, this is only a child's item.
Great Campagnolo Quality, but Odd Fit By mstraka from New Orleans, LA on 12/15/2008 Best Uses: Everyday, Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Usually I wear an XL in Campagnolo jerseys. In this case I had to return the XL for a L size. The chest area seems too large for the tagged size. All other areas are normal Campagnolo sizing. The zipper on both the jerseys was not smooth. Not that it would jam, but considering Campagnolo quality throughout the rest of the jersey, the zipper was one of the worst for and upscale jersey. Otherwise a very nice jersey. The carbon fiber simulated fabric weave looks great and is of a heavier thickness making it excellent for moderate temperatures. Not for the hottest days of summer
By cycle-4-fun from new york, ny on 12/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Using as a layer in cold weather. Full zip is convenient, material is lightweight but well insulated and breathable. Quality build. IT's typical "tight" cycling apparel, which means i needed an XXL!
For that cold/windy/wet ride. By SoCal Biker from Long Beach, CA on 12/12/2008 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket for the cyclist who won't let something like a cold windy wet day hold you back. Tight sleeve and neck closures keep the elements out. Good seal on the zippers. Very warm even down to the 30's.
The design is nice looking and there are ample pockets. I ordered my usual size and it fits well. Comfortable while riding and tight enough to prevent drafts and wind flapping. The material has a little stretch to it.
Too warm for the casual cool day. Best below 50 degrees. The waterproof lining tends to hold in sweat when riding hard.
Overall I was really pleased with this jacket and rely on it for that cold/wet/windy commute ride. Highly recommended.
By Tom from Washington state on 12/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is bulletproof and proudly carries the Campy name. It is a COLD weather jacket, meaning the material is quite substantial so if the mercury is above 40 you'll need two Camelbak's to replenish your sweat. Because of this, the jacket is also ideal for other winter sports like nordic skiing.
Order 1 size larger. Like most European-made clothing, the jacket runs small. I'm 5'11, 160 and a LARGE fits perfect.
By bicyclego from Kansas City, MO on 12/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My second pair of Campagnolo tights, the first being a Racing bib knicker. This is premium stuff, no doubt. The fit and finish is so top notched that I'm surprised more of my fellow cyclist don't suit up wearing the Campy name.
These are warm, but fell short on a 25 degree ride. I suspect these are best for 35+ degree runs.
By Agave from Tucson, AZ on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great tights at a great price.
Style, Fit, Quality: The Perfect Jersey By Rainguy from Portland, OR on 11/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight, Trim European Fit Best Uses: Commuting, Cool Weather Riding, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the size Small (listed at 37-39) and the fit is very trim, right on the cusp of tight, but the kind of fit I prefer. The material is springy and elastic, and there is a light fleece interior lining. All in all, an excellent cool weather jersey if you plan on using a single, think base layer. I'd say to order one size up if you plan to use heavier layering.
