By midlife crisis man from davidson, nc on 11/07/2008 Pros: Campy style is nice, Good Padding, Keeps me warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Below 45 degrees these are my go-to bottoms. Windproof, wet-suit-like in that they don't breathe so much, but they do keep me very warm. Don't overheat on long rides (60+mi.) that start at 35 degrees and end up at 50 degrees (though sweaty at the end). Deep chest zip allows for easy pit-stops. Snazzy Campagnolo script across your tush. Stirrups uncomplicated.
I like.
By coyote from North CA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Cold Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a casual rider started to commute with my bike during summer. The weather is getting cold so I bought this tights to keep me warm for my morning commute. It does the job very well and I don't feel cold or get sweaty in it.
Agree with other reviewers, it feels small for the size even though I order it one size up.
By Maitland from San Francisco, CA on 10/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At 6' 170 lbs long & lean, size L fits nicely!
Fit: Sleeve length works well for reaching handlebars w/o looking too long when walking around. Velcro wrist adjusters & elastic work well around sleeve opening. Bottom fits my 32 waist w/ snug fit, fit is close around stomach but not tight. If you have more stomach, may be more tight. Back length is 27.5" but front is shorter, my guess is ~23". This just hits above belt line when I stand up, fits great tho when leaned over to handlebars. With 42 coat size, chest and shoulder area fits right, can move my arms & breathe deeply just fine.
Style:
The pic doesn't show it, but there are red fabric accents on the forearms.
Features:
It'd be nice if they had hand pockets...Mesh-lined zip pockets in back are side-entry, could act as vents too? Rubber strip around waist opening keeps jacket from riding up. Reflective piping goes across mid back, and then down back/side of sleeves. Textran outer material feels very durable, I suspect interior fleece may pill a little over time...I'll have to see.
By Mark from Seattle, WA on 10/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This Jacket is all you need all Winter long for road and Mt biking. It's bullet proof! It needs to be below 50F or it will be too hot. You should order one size larger than you normally order.
By WA Roadie from Spokane, WA on 10/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for keeping warm on cold, windy, wet day. Repels water well. Also very breathable so there's no heat or moisture build up. Didn't get cold and clammy standing around after a hard climb. I was worried about the stirrups pulling not fitting correctly, but they hold the legs in place nicely and are no bother.

By bgsntth from Marin, CA on 09/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great piece. I wanted a jacket that was close fitting, yet water and windproof. This jacket is close to my ideal, and of very high-quality. The only catch is that it is very close fitting. I wear a 44L jacket and have a 34" waist, and an XL feels like a compression jacket on my chest, arms, and waist; but at least it won't flap around in the wind:)

SIZING DID NOT SEEM RIGHT By MIKE from FLORIDA on 08/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I WAS LOOKING FOR LIGHT JACKET THAT WAS WATERPROOF. I WANTED IT TO GO OVER MY SHIRT AND TIE SO THAT I COULD MOTORCYCLE TO WORK AND SAVE GAS WHILE ENJOYING A RIDE. BOTTOM LINE IS STILL LOOKING. IT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT JACKET, LIGHT GOOD LOOKING BUT SIZED INCORRECTLY. I WEAR A MEDIUM BUT ORDERED A LARGE TO GIVE ME ROOM FOR THE SHIRT AND TIE. JACKET FELT LIKE A SMALL. ARE CROECIANS THAT SMALL?
