320 thread count and gorgeous!! By gottabebigdogs from n. ca. on 11/23/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Change, Easy To Clean, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Bedding, Formal Bedding Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product description did not include thread count; customer service supplied after I called....320!! Not lightweight! This is a high, high quality cotton percale and I would call it a substantial midweight. I can see already that it will wear like iron (big dogs on the bed!). The color is a beautiful bright red, and the print is classic french country. It washes beautifully and is generously cut--fits my Faribault wool filled comforter beautifully. This is one of the most beautiful duvets I have seen.
By GuitarGirl from Beckley, WV on 10/25/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Change, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Bedding Describe Yourself: High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered this Duvet set after trying three others and returning them.
This set is just the right size for my down comforter. The weight of the fabic is light enough that it doesn't add extra weight, and, is soft, but, feels like it will wear well.
The color is a faded, or muted, red. And something that wasn't mentioned in the descripiton, it is reversible. The reverse side is a very light, almost white, ivory, with a small red floral design.
Makes my large bedroom (22 X 18), look quite cozy.
