By Voyageur from West chester, PA on 04/03/2009 Best Uses: Everyday riding, Long-distance riding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoes. The yellow and black are in fact red, yellow and black, like the Race shoes in other reviews, but without the ratcheting closure.
By Wannabe Racer from Heber City, Utah on 03/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Great power tansfer Cons: Sole chips easily, Toe box smallish Best Uses: Long-distance riding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far I am very pleased with the shoe. Runs small, ordered a 44 and I needed a 44.5. Fits my narrow feet well. Soles are stiff and have great power transfer. Breath very well.
By Wizzard from Clementon,N.J. on 03/23/2009 Pros: Durable Sole, Well Ventilated Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Typical great fit and comfort of Northwave, but shoes appearance is hideous. Advertised as yellow and black, however, one shoe is primarily yellow and black, the other is primarily red and black. Add listed only as yellow and black and contained no photo.

By Spin instructor from Boulder, Co on 03/03/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a narrow foot and this shoe was just too wide for it. It would work great for someone with a normal to wide foot. Great shoe otherwise, I had to return it though, my foot slipped out of it while riding!

Good product for the price By Larry from Detroit, MI on 12/22/2008 Cons: Prefer touch fasteners Best Uses: Everyday riding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a decent shoe for the money. However, there are many shoes in this price range that are at least as good. They are well ventilated, so they work out very well in hot weather. Hopefully, they hold up as well as my old Shimanos' did.
