But when I put it on I couldn't keep the dangling gem stone straight. It kept twisting and laying on its side. I tried several ways to keep it flat but nothing worked. I returned the necklace for a refund.

Bought four as Christmas presents; opened one to try on/investigate and the chain broke at the clasp. Three others seemed fine. Still enjoyed the design enough to buy five extras for gifts and kept the broken chain pendant to use myself! Might give warnings about the chain's durability, but hopefully the one (of nine) was just a fluke!

The description said it's Platinum over Silver, can't verify the platinum but it does have the silver mark, 925. Unfortunately, I think the charm is on the wrong side of the clasp. It gets in the way and makes it difficult to put on or take off. I only saw 1 diamond chip, had to use jewelers loop to find it. Wish it was American made!
