Just returned from snow camping trip in Sequoia NP. Bought the 25s for my 24 yr old, 140 lb. son, a beginner snow shoer. Snowshoed throughout park, on and off trail, up and down steep slopes on 3 foot base, powder and wet snow conditions. Snow shoes worked great. No problems. Durable, lightweight shoes easy to put on, take off. Very reasonable. Haven't had long enough to comment on durability, though seem durable enough. Recommend these.

Bought these snowshoes for my 3 year old daughter's winter birthday. They are fantastic! The snowshoes fit right over her winter boots and she feels extremely comfortable in them. The binding system is super easy to use, the buckles can even be operated with gloves on. The shoes are stable and provided her with great traction. (Note: They are not intended for ice and do not have cramp-ons. Perfect for most snow conditions though) The entire family can now go snowshoeing together!

These went on a 40lb three year old who is pretty coordinated. He had a great time first time out with very little trouble. Even when falling down it was easy for him to get up. I like that he will be able to wear these next year. GREAT first shoe!

As these are for my son for Christmas, we've not had a chance to test them out but I compared them with another pair we have and they seem to be as well made, if not better. Bear in mind they are for a young child. Still, I don't think they'll fall apart the first time, or even the tenth, that he wears them.
