By Wayne, DOP from Woodland Hills, CA on 02/18/2009 Pros: Adequate Capacity, Attractive Design, Quality Construction Best Uses: Daily Commuting, Important Documents, Staying Organized, Traveling Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great style, excellent quality/workmanship that surpasses much of what is on the market. It would have been nice if it had gusseted organizer pockets, but other than that, this is a fine bag for business meetings and casual use.

Well made with fine exterior leather and surprising high quality metal/brass hardware.

By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 01/19/2009 Pros: Adequate Capacity, Attractive Design, Lightweight, Quality Construction, Secure Design, Well Organized Inside Best Uses: Daily Commuting, Staying Organized, Traveling Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice color with complementary stitching, top quality leather, nice hardware, capacity is enough for a laptop plus documents, has several organizer pockets inside for pens, cards, outside newspaper sleeve. All pockets are canvas-lined, a sign of the craftsmanship. Reinforced top corners with rivets ensure long life. Just the right design for me in that it's dressy, but not overly so. The brass hardware is burnished for an antiqued look rather than polished to a shine. Another sign of attention to detail is that the buckles actually lock although I doubt I'll use that feature much.
Great looking small briefcase By Tired of cloth briefcases from Wilmington DE on 01/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Quality Construction Best Uses: Daily Commuting Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very handsome bag and its English good looks are different from most others I see on the street. It is not large, so be sure of its dimensions. Its two larger compartments hold loaded padfolios or accordion files very comfortably. Standard 3 ring binders fit horizontally but not vertically. 2" binders are a bit of a sqeeze in the larger compartments, 1.5" fit nicely. The three smaller interior compartments are not gusseted and hold only thin items. I would probably not put a brown bag lunch in it unless it was in a thin container. I don't foresee using the rather thin strap since it would be hard to load it enough to need it. The bag stands upright nicely when it is set down. This item is a great value.
