A good economical storage idea
By Handy Andy from Wellington, FL on 09/15/2009
Pros:
Convenient, Durable, Easy to Move, Efficient
Best Uses:
Garage, Space Saver, Storage
Describe Yourself:
Homeowner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a great storage solution to utilize wasted space. The product works well and as advertised. The only issue is that you need to check your garage door rails as I have a reinforcement piece of metal over parts of mine so I was not able to place it exactly where I wanted to but that is an issue with the home and not the product. If you have standard rails then this works great.

Do-All Outdoors Backyard Clay Hawk Pigeon Thrower - ¾ Trap

Works but takes some effort
By BrdmanVerified Reviewer from MASS on 08/31/2009
Pros:
Good value for the deal
Cons:
Holes needed redrilling, Not perfectly engineered
Best Uses:
Hunting, Target Practice
Describe Yourself:
Hunter
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Got this to prepare for a bird hunting trip and it works fine. Did have to redrill two holes that were just off enough so it would not go together. Easy to load and release. Light enough to load in the truck and move around at the range but stays put pretty well with the stakes provided. With all the Sierra deals it is a great deal for the money.

Do-All Outdoors Steel Target System - Steel Round Up

Solid Fun
By Mountain MikeVerified Reviewer from Western WA on 06/26/2009
Pros:
Heavy-duty build quality, Works great
Cons:
Leg alignment lacking
Best Uses:
Target Practice
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Shooter
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Have used this plinking with my pistols (9-mm and .40). It puts up to the abuse and the immediate feedback is great. Getting the holes to align on the mounting legs can be a pain and having 2 wing nuts throw in instead of the normal bolts would be nice since some folks would likely disassemble the legs for easy transport and storage. Overall, works as expected and makes target practice fun.

Do-All Outdoors Backyard Clay Hawk Pigeon Thrower - ¾ Trap

Functional option.
By MiddleagedscoutVerified Reviewer from Madison, Wisconsin on 06/25/2009
Pros:
Discounted price a deal, Functions fine
Cons:
Stakes insufficient
Best Uses:
Hunting, Target Practice
Describe Yourself:
Hunter
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Needs more weight to hold down during loading. 3/4s is easier than full model. However, first time you load it that IS a full turn. Ratcheting system does prevent arm from kicking back during loading --so that helps. Video on loading makes it look much easier than it actually is, but it's easy enough. The "full" model is NOT easy except for those with very much upper body strength or good weight behind them. I'm not weak in upper body and returned full model for this one. Will keep this one. Need tools to adjust direction of throws. Can be set up to throw alone with a cord. Definitely need more stakes or weight to keep it in the ground when loading. All in all a good option at a good (discounted) price to get out there and learn to hit targets before bird hunting and for just plain fun.
