By KD from Leavenworth, WA on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a lightweight, waterproof jacket that I could put in my pack in case of cold wind or rain. This jacket fits the bill perfectly, plus I think it's very nice looking. I think it will also make a great cross-country ski jacket.
By Bonnie & G.W. from Flint Hills, KS on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Needed a jacket with a little warmth but not too much. Really cuts wind and rain. Not too heavy either. If you have ever worn a Med., order a large. I don't like things to fit too snug and a med. would have. I usually can wear a med. or even a large small but got a Large and it's perfect, alone or with a lite vest or sweatshit on underneath. Love it!

By Dara the Explorer from Las Vegas, NV on 09/03/2009 Pros: Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I disregrded the reviews thinking that since I have large shoulders (swimmer) the cut might work for me. I was wrong. The jacket is cut to fit a person who is built like a body buider, not the weekend warrior body builder, but full time lifter type.
By Austin from Lake Arrowhead, CA on 09/03/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great pair of shorts. very lite-weight and comfortable. Only problem is that the inner liner bunches up and creeps up the inner thigh area. May have to cut out the inner liner.

I own the non framed smaller version and love it. The only downside is the drink holders if you bendover. I have solved that with a carabiner to lock it in. This uis lightweight, sita off your back and feels like nothing.
Tight armholes. Had to return By hikeswiss from Northern CA on 08/31/2009 Pros: Durable, High quality, Stylish Cons: Constricts Movement, Odd fit, Tight in armholes Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautifully made, high quality jacket but the fit was odd--very tight in the armholes. I am 5'9" 122 lbs with slender long arms. If this jacket doesn't fit me I can't imagine how it could fit anyone of "average" weight and size. Every other part of the jacket fit perfectly; sleeve length, bottom (around upper hip) chest and neck. It seems as though there was a major error in cutting the patterns for this jacket. Too bad because I loved it and hated having to return it.
