By Lovin shoes from Upper Michigan on 10/28/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: They were so cute but so narrow that I had to return them. And I don't have wide feet by any means! Would be great for those who are looking for a narrow boot!
By busymom from Des Moines, Iowa on 10/28/2009 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots (black) look nice but ran very small and narrow. In my usual size (6 1/2), I couldn't even get my foot in it. Also, the heel seemed very stiff and wasn't the right shape for my foot. They had to be returned, so I can't comment on performance. They seemed like they would be good boots, especially for the price, if only they could be tried on first.
By The Virge from Ashland, OR on 10/27/2009 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The heel/counter portion felt like it was made of plastic. The boots themselves looked great and they were wide enough at the calf. I couldn't imagine them ever becoming comfortable, however. Had to return.
By Value Shopper from Massachusetts on 10/27/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These will probably not be the most durable shoes I've bought, since they are not leather. But they are a good price for the product. The boot is comfortable. I think I have an average ankle and calf size. These boots are a bit snug through both. So if you have a large calf, skip these boots. They actually seem tightest just above the ankle, which is a bit odd but not uncomfortable. I got them to wear with skirts or dresses, and the boots will certainly work for that.
By short, narrow legs from New York on 10/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not very stylish. Too bulky around the ankles. Not form fitting.
By Carolyn from Waco, Tx on 10/26/2009 Best Uses: Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The leather on these looks good, and the boot conforms well to my calf. I have long leg muscles, so I don't bulk the way some others do, but they fit without gapping. There's a well-covered elastic for someone with a wider calf. The shank is a bit tight (and I have a narrow foot), but I expect it to stretch. While the arch support feels minimal, I have had no pain so far. I like the look and have no trouble walking in them.
A note: someone with a wider foot might want to order a size up, or look for something with a more generous top and shank.
By Chris from Rochester, NY on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The other comments on the size are accurate: you should order at least one size larger than you usually wear. Otherwise these boots are fantastic.
By Comfort oriented from Pasadena, CA on 10/23/2009 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots looked nice, but the leather was stiff and seemed likely to cause blisters quickly. I ordered my normal size of 8.5 and they were 1/2 to 1 full size small. Returned the boots. Because of the stiff leather, not risking reordering a larger size.
The Fashionable Winter Boot By Yoga Laura from Cleveland, OH on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When purchasing this boot make sure to go a half size up. I have narrow feet and this boot in a regular width works well. This boot seems very durable. It is fashionable yet seems like it will hold up well during tough Northeast Ohio winters.
By No more freezing feet! from NYC on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great pair of boots! They are very warm and soft on the inside, waterproof, and fit well to foot. They look durable and are of excellent workmanship. As always I'm a little hesitant to purchasing shoes on-line but once again STP made it easy to decide which size I should go with. They fit perfectly.
