I am concerned it may be volatizing dangerous chemicals that could be dangerous for my dog. I am sending back even though my dog likes it. Also, even the medium stick is big.

By Cindy Loud from Arkansas on 03/18/2009 Pros: Digests Well, Easy To Chew, Tasty Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great little snacks/treat for the money. My dog LOVES them. They are not greasy and do not upset his tummy like some others we have tried. I am training him in some basic obedience and they work great for that. However, the last ingredient is BHT and BHA as preservatives. These are known carcinogens but still found in a suprising number of dog foods. I will continue to use them since he only gets a couple a day... but would not feed them to him in large amounts. If not for the BHA I would have given them 5 stars.
By SteveB51 from Ramapo Mountains on 03/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Dog loved chewing on this, but immediately began ripping pieces off the end. Luckily it must not taste good, because the dog didn't eat them, but created a mess.
My Dog Dances for Petzels By sourdoughnative from Midwest on 03/17/2009 Pros: Digests Well, Easy To Chew, Not Messy, Tasty Best Uses: Everyday, Special Reward Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My ShiPoo loves these treats. They are easily chewed and digested. This is my second order of them. I recently found that the company that makes them will no longer be producing these tasty little snacks so I purchased 2 cases(12 bags). I have been giving them to fellow pet owners and raving about them. Guess I'll have to scour Petco when these are gone for some replacement.

Best reward treat out there.... By Pebbleboy from Arboles, CO on 02/20/2009 Best Uses: Everyday, Special Reward Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have a mid-size Lab/Chow (who knows what else) mix. This is the one reward that she really looks forward to getting -- and considering how obstinate she can be (she's been through professional training twice) these little pretzels have gotta be good! I've used these as a reward to larger dogs and the small size doesn't seem to matter -- they just inhale 'em. (Even fussy older dogs.) I have 100% of her attention when she sees the bag.
