By LL from Washington, DC on 09/27/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's true that these shoes run small and narrow. I ordered a half size larger than usual and find them very comfortable. Though at first they felt a bit narrow, they quickly stretched to adhere to the feet. The leather is extremely soft and supple. The sole is very flexible. The ballet toe box is great -- couldn't be more comfortable. I have walked miles in them without any discomfort!

By JE from Sacramento,CA on 04/30/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have found that Trotters are not always true to size. Each pair of shoes although same style and size will not fir the same.
By DiannInLA from Los Angeles on 04/20/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Versatile Cons: No arch support, Wear Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Always happy to find a good shoe in a Narrow, I slipped them on right out of the box, and they were immediately comfortable. However, wary of past mistakes repeating themselves, I walked around the house with them to be sure the comfort lasted. It did. However, when I took them off, the ridges across the top had already formed, leaving an imprint of my instep that would have made it difficult to impossible to return. They already had the tell-tale signs of being worn. On the plus side, they are great to wear with jeans or a skirt. They are as comfortable as slippers. For me, the plus is that I have something to slip on at a moment's notice; however, on the minus side, I've grown accustomed to expecting more arch support and "foundation" in a shoe; and these shoes do not provide any support. They do breathe; however, and on a hot summer day, I will be glad to have them to slip into. They are keepers, but with the caveats listed above.

Trotters Megan Women slip on loafer By Susan from Naperville, IL on 01/14/2009 Pros: Great color and weave, Leather sole, Leather uppers, Small heel Cons: Easy slip until toes, Tight in the toes, Too square of a toe Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This loafer was what I have looked high and low for because it has a great weave and color leather upper with a leather sole (you cannot find leather soles, anymore). I prefer a rounded toe to a square toe as this shoe slips on easily until you get to the toes. Hard to get the toes into the front of the shoe. I am hoping that they will stretch so that they will truly be slip-ons?!
