By Lightweight Traveler from Redding, CA on 09/11/2007 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality, Lightweight, Nice sturdy handle, Very versatile suitcase Cons: Sides of case are floppy, Too large for my use Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suitcase is referred to as an "overnighter"; however, it could easily be used for a 2-3 week trip with careful packing. I preferred a case with rigid sides to help contain the contents when the suitcase was open. Otherwise, it appeared to be very functional and high quality.

By dxboyscouter from Mount Vernon, OH on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Extended Hikes, Light Loads, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational, Student Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this backpack on campus and it seems to be pretty well made. It is secure, easy to adjust - just plain easy to work with. I love it. However, I have not done any hiking with it, nor have I had an opportunity to use it in wet weather. It seems to be made with the possibility of wet weather in mind. They have added some options on the daypack to provide some security for the rain as well as a rain cover. I am not sure how the removable day pack will work with heavy loads on a hiking trip. It seems like over a period of time the straps that secure it would wear down fairly easy. However, I have no idea. In any case, I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

By Father of 2 crazy boys from South Florida on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight, Stylish, Trendy Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Parties, Theme parks, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational, Parent 2 kids Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is definitely high quality made backpack and I would highly recommend to any of my friends. I plan to use this as I go to the neighborhood parks, theme parks such as Disney World. Roomy enough for towels, change of clothes, and other needed things for two kids. It's stylish enough that I feel like a hip father, but practical enough that I also look like a smart father who knows how to shop for quality products!
An Excellent Value in a Travel Pack By Haebar from Oak Ridge, Tennessee on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Feature packed, Impeccably constructed, Reeks of Quality Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pack is worth the suggested retail price and is a true value at this discounted price. There are too many features to list, but one thing that shouts out to you is the quality of construction of this pack. It is truly worthy of the Victorinox name, don't let the low price fool you. This is a bullet-proof pack that you will be proud to own. I'm glad I bought mine!

By Swervin' Mervin from FL ex Oz on 08/31/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational, Student Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used this for several trips away. The 3200 fits into cabin stowage on most planes and classifies as 'carry-on' (I usually unhitch the day pack and put it at my feet on the plane). You can easily fit a week's worth of gear for a trip away, and the day pack is perfect for getting around upon arrival. I now don't need to check any luggage. The day pack could dock a little tighter to the main backpack (it swings around a little), but i usually only have them docked on the way to-and-from the airport. I'd be a little hesitant to use it as a dedicated hiking backpack; i think there is better gear out there suited for that camping/hiking purpose, but for traveling light domestically and internationally, this can't be beat. I haven't had any problems with the build quality of this gear.
