Handle broke after two uses!!! By Kaatskills Kate from New York town and country on 05/06/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Made in China, take your chances. My second review of this product. Earlier, I recommended the weight and ease of motion. But...side handle came off as I was lifting suitcase from car trunk second time I used this piece.. no quality control in China! My husband was able to fix, but ... he discovered that all screws were loose, on each fastening in this suitcase . Don't bother. Save your money or buy American.
By stampwife from southern ca on 05/05/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great bag for short business trips - holds work, laptop and the purse the airlines won't allow if you also don't check your overnight bag. Plenty of easily accessible pockets for ticket, newspaper, those gels in the plastic bag. Great quality and good looking. It doesn't have a fixed closure for the flap (then it would be perfect) but I haven't found that much of a problem.
By campingfriend from Layton, Utah on 05/02/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There is room for a lot of items. The cosmetic case is desined so that a pocket in the back will slip over the handle of rolling luggage. My wife showed this case to my sister. She wanted one,so I bought her one and one for myself.
By Kepala from Danvers, IL on 04/30/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this bag last weekend in Chicago and loved it! It not only fits my clothes, but my Victorinox cosmetic traveler with all of my makeup, etc. The sides are hard, unlike a normal duffel bag, so it was easy to pack and get things in and out. It was very easy to manuever and because I like to hotel hop in Chicago, it kept my travel manageable.
Tough construction, handy features By Falcata from Durham, NC on 04/30/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not as wide as the duffel that it's replacing but ample capacity for a several day trip, with a handy compartment for dirty or wet clothes.
By frequent flyer from Austin, Texas on 04/27/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, High Quality Cons: Arrangement for handle, Hard to access items Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This would have been a perfect carry on if it could then be added to the top of a larger, wheeled checked bag. That arrangement is possible, but doesn't work at all well.
Well designed and well made. By zeke from Iowa City, IA on 04/26/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A perfect bag for trips of short duration, and would be suitable to check at airports. Together with a garment bag, this would be about all you'd need even for a trip of 7-10 days.
By Hates to fly from Kentucky on 04/26/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding, Heavy-duty wheels, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This tote is the perfect size to carry on an airplane. It's roomy, but small enough to fit under the seat or easily in the overhead bin. The telescoping handle is long enough for me to comfortably pull the tote, and I'm 6 feet tall. The wheels are big and sturdy, but the whole thing is amazingly lightweight. My sister the travel agent was really impressed with this product.
By Hates to fly from Kentucky on 04/26/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although this is a high-quality case, it is much too large to be of practical use to me. I prefer a cosmetic case that will fit into my carry-on when I fly or into my suitcase when I drive. I can't imagine how many cosmetics you would have to carry to fill it up. There are many great features, and I'll keep it, but I'm just not sure how I'll use it.
