These are not "shop gloves" By Wolfman Jack from North Woods. on 03/07/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am disappointed with STP on this one. These are definitely not "shop gloves" as STP is marketing them. They are clearly labeled by the manufacturer as "motorcycle gloves." The suede leather is way too slippery for a good grip on tools. The leather is too stiff to offer a good touch and yet too thin to offer much protection for the hands. I might try them on my bicycle.
