Great helmet for little heads By nkrshop from boulder, co on 05/04/2009 Best Uses: Cold-weather riding, Everyday riding, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a peanut head and it's hard to find adult helmets that are shallow enough in depth so that the harness system doesn't push my ears out and make me look like an alien. This helmet has a really shallow harness system, which is great for me. Great helmet for the money, and looks cool, too.

Excellent Pro helmet at Phred price By ZenNMotion from N. Virginia on 04/30/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: BMX, Cold-weather riding, Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bells tend to fit my oval shaped head better than other common brands, this one is a little tighter than other medium Bells at first but the pads can be replaced with thinner ones- after a few rides it feels like my other medium Bells. This is my race/training helmet for road, XC and Cyclocross. At this price I bought 2- it's nice to have a 2nd helmet to ride to work in that's not stinky from yesterday's training ride. If it fits, you won't find a better helmet- this was the top of Bell's line in the past. In-shell molding means the shell won't easily crack and chip like cheap models. Smooth profile helps prevent neck injury from catching on pavement during a slide (yikes!) Ventilation is very good compromise- cool enough for mid-summer racing in hot and humid Virginia, while maintaining safety (more ventilation= less strength). Bright red rocks- stands out in traffic, and it's easy for my wife to see me whizz by in a crowded race peloton!
By John from Berkshires on 04/29/2009 Pros: Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought this helmet so that my son, who's learning to ride his bike without training wheels, would have some sturdy easy to use head protection. So far so good.
By Redhead Now from Boston, MA on 04/27/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fantastic helmet, extremely comfortable, nice design inside and out. No awareness of it while riding--that's a new one for me. I'm a casual rider but my boyfriend is an avid cyclist. He told me to buy from Sierra, saw the helmet, gave it big thumbs up. Great buy. Highly recommend.
