When done for the day I just hose them off and let them dry. The ziplock portions are also inter-changable allowing for custom lure choices for each trip out!!!!
By Pete from Peoples Republik of Taxachusetts on 04/22/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Functional Cons: Not for "dry" flys, Not for "flat wing" flys, Wet flys stay wet Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Holds flies, leaders, small tools, and tippet material...
Fits in the over-sized chest pockets on typical wading jackets...
The flys are kept dry in velcro attached zip lock envelopes...
The flys are flattened and should be removed after use to allow for proper rust free drying.
Probably NOT suitable for "flat wing" or "dry" fly styles or intricate 3D type patterns...
I use this envelope to carry Clousers, Deceivers, coiled leaders and the like...things that lie flat.
