By Jared the Kayaker from CA on 05/25/2008 Pros: Beads water, Comfortable Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off, Wrists are too small Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This top does not have the best materials or construction but for the price it is OK.
By Mike from Charlotte, NC on 05/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for late Spring kayaking when the the water is still cold, but the temp is too high for a full on drytop. Works great! Great price too!
By Joe kayaker from Charlotte, NC on 05/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the dry top, but the sleeve where the velcro is rubs the outside of your arm and is a little uncomfortable. In the description of the product they state latex gaskets on arms and neck. There are oly latex gaskets on the arms and neoprene on the neck. All in all not bad for the money. For a little more, if you pay full price, you now get the removeable neoprene sleeves.
By Dano from NH on 05/04/2008 Best Uses: Boating, Colder Water Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'll start by saying it's my first dry top so I don't have much to compare it to except others that I have looked at in stores. The outer material seems to be very durable yet I haven't noticed any restrictions in my movement because of it. The neoprene outer neck (over the latex one) is long and covers most of your neck wich is nice in very cold water. I have no complaints...I would recommend it for sure!
By xanhiker from Cumberland River, TN on 05/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Large Pocket Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off, Neck is WAY too tight, Sizes run small, Too Hot Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: IT is a good drytop, if it fits you. My large was a large in the stomach, but not in the chest or neck. I will be buying another, just a larger size.
Works well; durability to be determined. By Racer Dan from Baltimore, MD on 04/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Boating, Windsurfing Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Allows freedom of movement of arms and torso.
By akapc from Maryland on 04/22/2008 Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off, Too small Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I read that these run small, so I got a men's L AND a men's XL just to give myself the leeway. I didn't even bother to put on the L and I almost had to call for help to get out of the XL. These may be nice but the sizing is ludicrous. I realize that we corn-fed Americans are bigger then the Brits, but this is poppycock!
I would recommend these to a friend only if they ordered two sizes larger. Also, the hood may be nice when you need it, but when you don't, it can't really be put out of the way.
By Sarah N. from Las Vegas, NV on 04/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great splash top. The neck and wrists are very comfy, tight, but keeps the water out. Great top for the price.
By dean from Jenkintown PA on 04/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: The sizing is way small Best Uses: Boating, Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked the jacket, its features etc but the sizing is very small.
By eastmaple from New England on 04/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the neck seal. It's just neoprene, more comfortable than a latex gasket. I've taken a couple swims with this and - no leaks.
