By Clara from Toronto, Canada on 08/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Elegant large mug/bowl. I use them for cereal but unfortunately they are not microwave safe and even though it says in the description they are dishwasher safe...they are NOT. After a few uses in the dishwasher the mug shows some evident cracking and wear so now I hand wash them only. If these cups were smaller they'd be great for cappuccino but they are good for cereal and for dunking cookies. But definitely over priced .
Beautiful Bowl & Decorative Accessory By Art Lover from Knoxville, TN on 07/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Unique Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very pleased with this product. Looks great on my bedroom wall and compliments my Mediterranean bedspread. Colors are perfect for my room. I find the faux cracks and aged look interesting.

Large enough for hot chocolate or soup also. Very, nice and interesting.

By Capitol Hill Gal from Wasington DC on 05/27/2009 Cons: Disproportionate, Low Quality Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These cups are a great idea that was poorly implemented. They are a bit too big, made from some sort of light weight earthenware. The pewter badge is actually very nice, but too small for the size of the cup. If the cup were a bit smaller (~4" in diameter) and china or high end ceramic, or even if the pewter badge was a little larger...if you like the large size of the cup/bowl. In any event, I will return them. I got an extra set to give as a gift, but would never give these to a friend. Even at 1/2 the price, they would not be of any value to me.
Arte Italica Sorrento Wall Decor Bowl By LP from Berlin, Connecticut on 05/04/2009 Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased two bowls as wedding gifts and I returned both of them for credit. They looked cracked and defective. I've traveled all over Europe and was expecting a high quality item. It looks as if these bowls were actually cracked and put together with grout by the manufacturer to recoup some of the cost. This is not the simple crackling that you get from Europeon "aged-hand painted warmth" as described. These are huge cracks with 1/2 inch grout within the bowl. I never saw a bowl cracked to the degree this one was while in Italy for 3 weeks.

But classic enough to put out at a semi-formal dinner party. For the price, you can't beat these quality salad utensils.
