But classic enough to put out at a semi-formal dinner party. For the price, you can't beat these quality salad utensils.

On one cup, there was excess glue around the pewter tag that can not be removed. I was disappointed with this purchase.

The plates had a glaze defect that made them look dirty. It couldn't be washed off.

They are not practical for everyday use if you do most of your cooking with a microwave.
