On one cup, there was excess glue around the pewter tag that can not be removed. I was disappointed with this purchase.

They are not practical for everyday use if you do most of your cooking with a microwave.

It is very stately on its own - and very different. I pictured it as a vase filled with wild flowers..... larger than I thought which was a good thing.
