By Al from Granville, MA on 03/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Durable, Great color Describe Yourself: High-End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these towels in my kitchen. They are super colors and great patterns. Nice absorbability after washing too.
By Sundance's mom from Wisconsin on 03/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been trying to find a heavier waffle type dishrag - my old ones are finally wearing out and the only ones I have found in the stores are all flimsy - these are just what I was looking for. I ordered two sets and am thinking of ordering more to put in the RV.
Not absorbent, won't dry the counter. By Mad Hatter from Worlando Beach, Wyoming on 03/09/2008 Best Uses: Oil rag for garage Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the all-cotton waffle weave led me to believe they would be absorbent, they aren't, even after washing. I would wipe a counter and it would remain wet, then I would try to dry it with the matching towel, and the counter would still be wet, which, of course, is unsanitary.
By Mad Hatter from Worlando Beach, Wyoming on 03/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Durable Best Uses: I can't think of a use. Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Form follows function, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these towels since, despite their waffle weave, they are not absorbent. Even after washing to try to make them more absorbent, we couldn't wipe the counter dry with them. Ditto for the dishcloths.
By JoArkansas from Arkansas on 03/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Vintage-look Best Uses: Kitchen, Kitchen display cabinets Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you collect 1930's vintage and/or vintage-look kitchen towels you will appreciate these. I paid less than half the price that I have paid at the local kitchen store for the same product. I have not washed them yet since I use them for display, but they seem well-made and they "hold their own" with my other collectibles :)
