Cons are that it can't be aimed there is no adjustment, and that there is only one light beam so you have to use your LED life quicker than one that has 2 bulb options. If your looking for something simple and lightweight, easily stashable, then this is the perfect choice

By zeb from Minnesota on 12/05/2007 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchaed these gloves for use in the backcountry, skiing, or as back-up ice climbing gloves. It snowed yesterday, so I threw them on to go shovel the driveway and sidewalk. The temp was well within the suggested range for this product. My hands were freezing within minutes! I was even doing something very active and heat-generating. If I can't use these to shovel the sidewalk for 20 minutes, how can I use them for winter activities lasting all day?

It is reasonably lightweight for its size(40 liter) and was stable while scrambling. My back and shoulders felt comfortable after carrying 35 pounds of gear for 2 days. This is a great pack and I'm very satified with my purchase.
By Griff from Tampa, FL on 09/21/2007 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Spare Bulb, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very bright main bulb. You can see it for a long distance. Also has LED's to conserve battery. Very nice rechargeable battery. Lot's of accessories. Takes regular alkaline batteries too.
Good instructions. It's a tad heavier (maybe 1 oz) than some less bright models, since it has 4 batteries. Have not tested in wet weather yet, claims to be water resistant. I like this product.
