By Fred from Phoenix, Az on 06/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Poor fit for thin ankles Best Uses: River Fishing, Wading Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these to keep out the sand and gravel when fishing the Black River in AZ. Only had to empty them out once after 6 hours of fishing and hiking. Approximately 4 miles. The deepest muck I stepped in was ~3 inches. They would have worked better if the tops fit skinny ankles.

And my other ones were like NASA moon boots. But the first time i put these on it was like putting on a new pair of nike's. My first day out surf fishing these boots felt good in the surf off the beach and i was suprised how much traction i had on the rocks. So far these are great.
