Ours is not the terra cotta color with the glazed bands. Ours has no glazed bands. But it still looks very nice and I wish I had ordered more than one before you ran out of them. The one we received has more of a distressed stone/concrete finish. It looks really cool, though, and we are happy with it. We will need to be sure to hang it on a substantial branch because it is heavy. And for our NW Ohio backyard, I think the material will be insulating on the hottest summer days.

I wrapped the inner circles with a string of red beads and placed a string of Christmas lights around the outer ring. It looks great lit up on the outside of the door. I would use it inside if I had a long entryway or large room. I think it will last forever--this is not a cheap one-year deoration. You'll bequeath it to grandchildren.

I also bought the wreath. I really like them both. They look very well made and expensive and the design is quite striking. You will need to put something under it so that it will not scratch the surface of your table. It appears to be quite sturdy and well made.
