Heavy odor, 24" wide, but nice By Tone from New York on 05/18/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is nice and soft, but not very wide, so you can't wrap it around yourself the way you can with a conventionally sized (more "squarish") blanket. For travel, though, it works well. and is lightweight.
The only other issue is that these blankets have a heavy odor, which I am hoping will go away after washing ... not sure if it is the dye or the polyester material, or both.

We bought this for her and it was wonderful. The size was perfect to drap over her shoulders w/o confining her. My husband, after he felt it, wanted to take it back and keep it for himself. Looks like I know what to get him for Valentine's Day!!
